NOTE: before I continue, there is an option to rent including weekends for an initial 6 months and potentially further. Contact me to discuss.
I'm renting out the other room in my 2 year old new build 7th floor flat. There are two lifts and a roof garden (no picture) which you would get access to. You will also have access to a family bathroom (for your own use) with shower and bath, which I will hardly use as I have an ensuite.
There is currently a single bed but I am currently upgrading that to a double or king. Please bear that in mind. The TV works and is delicate but does swing out.
There is a lovely balcony with decent views as it is the 7th floor of a new build, one road off of the Slough high street. 5-10 minute walk to Slough Bus and Train Stations. 15-20 minute walk to Eton and 30-45 minute walk to Windsor.
Parking is limited but there are paid for car parks and, further out, some places to park, which are free. Pets are not allowed.
I work as a financial advisor and I'm out a lot through the week (although I sometimes work from home) and I visit family every other weekend generally. I have a girlfriend who I see sometimes as well.
There is a £75 additional contribution for me losing the 25% single persons council tax discount and also to contribute for a cleaner who will come and clean the whole flat every other week.
The room and space is ideal for a professional who needs a comfortable area to relax and retreat to after busy days. I'm quite sociable and friendly and can talk about virtually anything if we do end up crossing paths a lot!
I only smoke on my balcony, I maintain a few house plants, family live nearby and there are three levels of fob security in the building so it is very secure.
I'd also like to meet, of course, before we agree the lodging. If we get on we can discuss longer term arrangements/flexibility with the days/dates is fine.
