SNUG was formed in 2015, we are a group of friends who are full time, professional landlords and members of the UK’s leading network providing high quality house shares for working professionals. We care passionately about our houses, we don’t use agents and personally meet all new housemates to ensure they are friendly and sociable working professionals (typically in their 20’s and 30’s). Instead of paying a 5-week security deposit, you can choose to use Reposit and pay a 1-week one-off service fee. You can use the money you save to spend on something you actually want! TILEHURST:
Tilehurst station gives quick access into Reading and there onwards to London, making it a good option for commuters. It is also close to major roads (like the A329, A4 and M4) so driving in and out of the area is easy to do. There are several nice parks around such as Arthur Newbery Park which slopes down to the Thames valley and is a well-used outdoor space.

You’ll find good access to nature, walks and recreation areas which makes it attractive for young professionals. The community centre is well-equipped and offers facilities for local groups and events. Compared to very central Reading or ultra-commuter towns, Tilehurst offers a bit more space for your money. Ideal for people who want the convenience of being near town, but prefer a bit more space, more green, less densely built.

For many young professionals who work hard and want a decent home life (rather than being constantly in a dense city centre), Tilehurst is appealing. There are decent pubs/cafés (for after-work or weekend socialising). For example, the local pub The Royal Oak and has quiz nights and The Switch in the Triangle does a superb brunch.
