Large double with ensuite, dog lover required!

Hello, we are a busy family looking for short term lodgers rather than someone looking for a permanent home so the room is suitable for people in Bristol for temporary work, internships, studying, Erasmus etc.

I’m a professional female living with my 2 kids (part time) 2 adopted turtles and rescue dog in Ashton near the football ground, around 5 minutes walk to North Street. We’ve got a large double room available in the loft. The loft has 2 double rooms and my 16 year old son is in the other room. There is also a shower room up there that is for the use of our lodger, we use the bathroom downstairs.

I'm looking for someone who is happy in a family home, self-sufficient and cleans up after themselves. You need to be confident with dogs and relaxed around teenagers. My kids live with me part of the time so the house is child free 3 nights a week. We’ve house shared since 2016 so we’re all used to sharing the space. I am a busy working Mum and don’t have much free time so the room is best suited to someone that is happy to be independent at home. I’m always happy to have a chat but also like my space.

We’ve recently rehomed a dog and although he is very friendly he is also quite loud so we need someone who is confident with dogs and ok with a bit of barking. He can be reactive when people come to the house so we have to manage visitors carefully and a lodger would need to be ok with this.

We’ve had lots of interns and Erasmus students previously and that has worked well. We are looking for someone coming to Bristol for work/study rather than someone looking for a long term home. The rent includes all bills, wifi and Netflix.
