Double Bedroom In Friendly Houseshare 1/12/25

After living here for many years, I'm moving out to live with my girlfriend, so you'd be replacing me in the house. It's a great house for a great price, right by North Street in Bedminster, and the existing housemates would love to keep the relaxed, communal atmosphere going.

Available is a first-floor double bedroom (see pics).

You would be living with Ben & Arran. Ben is a 36-year-old from Cornwall, into the outdoors and currently working as a landscaper. Arran is 31, into music, going to gigs, football, outdoors, pubs & cinema. Ben moved in a year ago and Arran joined in August, so it's a fairly new house share set-up.

It's not a party household but having friends over for dinner or coffee is always welcome!

Worth noting that the house is not very soundproof, so unfortunately, that late-night violin school you've been dreaming of isn't going to work out here.

It's also worth noting that the majority of the furniture is mine and will be going with me. Ben will be replacing some of the bigger items like sofas and dining table, but it likely means there'll be space and opportunity to rejig the communal areas when you move in.

There's parking available but it's on-street. I've rarely had a problem finding a spot on the road, though it can get pretty full at times - particularly when there is a gig or game on at Ashton Gate Stadium.

One communal bathroom with a shower and bath, plus a downstairs toilet.

Broadband, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher.

Council tax is band B and currently £170/month between us. All bills including this, gas/elctric, broadband and water generally come to around £160 each. Rent for the room is £450, taking it to £610 at present for rent and bills all in.

The landlord is a really decent guy with whom we have a good relationship.
