Hi Bristol folk,
I’m looking for a friendly, easy-going housemate from May 2026. The room is a bright, south-facing double at the back of the house (overlooking garden), furnished with a bed, chest of drawers and built-in wardrobe. The house has a lounge, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, shared bathroom, spare office/guest room and a spacious sunny garden. I also have a pet tortoise, Derek, who lives in the garden – He can’t bite despite his pathetic attempts to do so.
I’m laid back and enjoy a calm home, but also like being active, socialising, cooking/BBQs, gigs and festivals. I work partly from home and weekday evenings are fairly low key. It’d be great to hang out sometimes while still having our own space.
There is space for a desk in the room, but otherwise if working from home space needed this can be discussed as I work only partly at home so potential to use spare room/dining room for office. Street parking is never an issue (rare for Bedminster)
Rent includes all bills and utilities to make it easy as pie for us both. No couples, but Mon–Fri considered and with the right person, pets could be allowed.
