I'm looking for a young female professional or full time apprentice; or a masters/PhD / vocational student to join the friendly, female, 21-year-old, current tenant who is working full time with the BBC in Bristol (no undergrads).
The flat is in a fantastic location right next to the A38 and bus stops. Only 10 mins into the city centre by bus. North Street only a 8 min walk away.
Council tax is included in the rent (band B) as are water bills and broadband. Energy bills are not included.
The room for rent is newly refurbished and has a 1 year old carpet and is freshly painted (it is the smaller double room - see floor plan). There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in the flat, so each tenant has sole use of a bathroom (see photo for the available shower room with sink and toilet).
There is a shared, open-plan, living area and kitchen.
The bedroom for rent is partially furnished with a pine double bed with mattress, bedside table, a chair & curtains. The living area is already furnished with smart TV, sofa, table and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven & hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine & kettle.
The flat is cosy with central heating and double glazed windows. It is on the top floor of 3 floors (wide staircase but no lift). There is a shared, secure small courtyard with bike store for the whole building (9 flats in total).
There is no allocated parking but there is free on-street parking outside and on adjacent residential roads (which is in high demand)
Credit check, ID check and references will be required. There will also be an initial chat with the current tenant and myself during the viewing.
The current tenant is easy-going and friendly and likes a fairly quiet lifestyle (mainly due to being tired on her return home from work). She would like to watch TV / films together occasionally; enjoy chats whilst both cooking tea; whilst respecting each other's privacy at the same time. She works Monday to Friday until 5.30pm. She doesn't want someone who works at home ( very occasionally is ok) or who works nights or finishes very late at night. She would like someone who is clean and tidy, who would show respect for each other's belongings and who would take an equal share in keeping the communal areas clean and cared for.
The current tenant loves films, music, comedy, funny TV series, creation and production of media, history and exploring Bristol.
