About the room:
It is a large double room in the loft with an ensuite bathroom. There is a king size bed which had a new mattress at the start of 2025, and built in storage. From the front you have a great view down to the suspension bridge and to the rear there is a view over the garden. The room was my room until last year, but I've now moved to London for work.
There are TV/ethernet points for fast fibre broadband.
About the house: nice, cosy and clean. Downstairs is a large living/dining room, kitchen and a conservatory. There is another bathroom on the first floor which is shared between the other two housemates. The carpets have been replaced within the last year. There is a big garden, which catches the sun late into the evening and is perfect for BBQs in summer. To the rear is a garage where you can store your bike.
The house is a 10 minute walk to North Street, 30 minute walk to the harbourside and 25 minute walk to Ashton Court. We're right opposite the climbing centre so very convenient if you're into that!
There is generally a good amount of free street parking (although we are near Ashton Gate so it can be a pain when the football/rugby is on!!). There is also a drive which is shared with the other housemates on a first come first served basis.
About the current tenants: Two female professionals (Flor and Tanya). They are working during the week, so evenings tend to be quiet! During the weekends it's nice to socialise if people are free but no pressure.
We are looking for someone relaxed to share with. We're not too fussy about anything much, but do like the house to be clean, so you do need to be house-trained. We are all respectful and aware if someone is having a busy work week/weekend and would expect similar in a potential housemate. Whilst we're not looking for a party animal, we are looking for someone social and not a room hermit! Not fussed male or female as long as we can all get along and make it a nice home!
Council Tax Band B. Bills come to around 150-200 each per month. Deposit is one month's rent. Room is available now.
