The double room is let on an individual contract basis as part of a professional Bedminster house share. (AVAILABLE from 1st August)

Hi my name is Sally. I am a private landlady (no agency fees) and I own a Victorian terraced house in Bedminster in a quiet cul-de-sac off the Chessels with a garden, unfortunately no bike storage but there is a secure locking point for bikes. The house is nicely decorated and has an integrated kitchen and Fast Broadband installed. Benefits from a brand-new combination boiler, providing instant hot water. Like a lot of properties in this area the bathroom is situated downstairs.

If you are not familiar with the area, it’s a great place to live. Only a short stroll from both North Street and West Street with good bus connections and twenty-minutes’ walk from the city centre. There is free on street parking, no permits.

I am looking for a 3rd professional female who is mature, clean, easy going and a non-smoker to share with Meg and Saz but most importantly somebody who is looking for a new home, not just somewhere to stay/rent. It definitely is not a party house. (please see below a message from Meg and Saz)

The room is a large downstairs fully furnished room with plenty of room for a double bed, set of drawers and wardrobe from Ikea. There is also space for a desk.

The initial contract will be for 6 months. The rent is £700 and includes all bills. (except electricity, which is currently on a key meter works out around £15-£20 a month each). This does reflect the new energy prices so will also be fixed for the first 6 months.

A deposit of £700 must be paid in advance and will be put in a DPS (Deposit Protection Scheme) until you move out – there are no agency fees, everything is done through myself.

Meg - Hey! A little bit about me - I’m 30 years old and I work in fundraising. I enjoy all things outdoorsy from long walks to running, cycling, and climbing. Typically, I'm a very active person but had a bad knee injury earlier this year so am slowly getting back to the gym and my running/climbing. I love a cheeky brunch, glass of wine or a decent craft beer so you'll find me in many of the great independent brewery's and cafes nearby. I also do stand up comedy from time to time so I'm occasionally out late on a week night gigging but the nights I perform at are usually free (lower expectations that way😉) so you'd be very welcome to come along.

Heyy I'm Saz, 35 and I work at the uni. I'm pretty outdoorsy like Meg and will take the opportunity to get out in the countryside and travel abroad when I can. Love a good walk, surfing, running (more like jogging, let's be honest) and Brazilian jiu jitsu. I'm fairly sociable so often out and about enjoying a beer + dancing session/ at book club/ playing games with my friends etc whilst also enjoying some lazy time at home inbetween. I'm not into much TV but like a good film. Our area is great for getting out to Ashton Court and Leigh Woods.

We’re a sociable household, and we enjoy going out for drinks together, but also enjoying chilled nights in, watching a film or binging the latest Netflix drama. Ideally were looking for someone who’s easy going, mucks in with the housework, considerate, and someone who wants to hang out when they can, whilst also enjoying their own space too.
