Description
Experience living in an alternative community in the heart of Bristol!
We are Co-housing Bristol, a co-housing community in Bedminster. We have a short-term room available at Lower Knowle Farm - a 7-bedroom, grade 2 listed farmhouse 45 minutes walk/15-minute bus from the city centre.
The room is a pretty double bedroom with space for a sofa/chairs and a desk. It can be provided part furnished depending on what you need. The house itself has got a huge kitchen, large living room with a piano and access to large shared gardens as well as parking and EV charging. The room would be £725 p/m, including bills and council tax available from April 1st.
There are 6 of us living in the farmhouse currently. We are a mix of ages - from our 20s to 70 - and have a mix of jobs; from pottery artists to teachers. We are sociable and aim to share a meal once a week - but also recognise that we all have our own schedules and need our own space.
The site itself is home to a wider co-housing community of around 20 people - including young families with children. There is a large shared garden and allotment space we share. We regularly host shared meals/potlucks with the wider community, meet together to make shared decisions and muck in to work-parties (e. g. to get the gardening done).
Please get in touch to arrange a viewing of the room and to meet your potential future housemates!
