Description

Hi there!

I'm Nick, living in a great flat which is well located at the top of Windmill Hill, 1 min from Victoria Park, and a 10 minute walk from East Street. I'm looking for a lovely, calm and considerate person to move in with me from 20th November.

The Room & Flat 🏡

It's a cozy 2-bed with a lovely living room, bathroom, and small kitchen. Unfortunately no garden (alas), but we’ve got Victoria Park virtually next door makes up for it!
The room available is, a good sized South-facing room with space for a double bed and furniture.
The room is unfurnished, so you’d need to bring your own bed & mattress, furniture etc., but the rest of the flat is well-equipped.

There’s a gas hob, fridge freezer, and a washer/dryer combo. There’s also extra storage in the bathroom and basement so you don’t need to worry about fitting everything in the bedroom.

About Me! 👈🏻

I'm a 27 y/o young professional, working in the built environment/arts world. I work 9-5, usually in the office 1-2 days a week (give or take a day), and I work from home the rest.
I'm musical, arty, outdoorsy, social, very cycle-powered. In my spare time I cycle with local clubs, hike, go bikepacking and enjoy musical/art/cultural scene in Bristol & around. I’m involved with the permaculture and sustainable living world in Bristol/wider, and am very passionate about

I’m generally very curious and open-minded and feel most joyful and stimulated when connecting with people, having fun and having thoughtful conversation - so I’m always down for deep meaningful chats in the evenings over dinner, and also having jolly, whimsical times too!
I can burn through my social battery quite quickly though, especially with work, so in the week I like to have calm time to myself too.

About You 🫵🏼 / The Vibe ✨

I value open communication, honesty, accountability, kindness, and a good sense of humour – and I’m looking for someone who feels the same. Preferably, you’re late 20s to early 30s, but that’s not necessarily a deal breaker, and we share some interests. The dream is to co-create a comfortable, relaxed space where we can both be ourselves, support each other, and ultimately be good mates and make the place a home with eachother through good teamwork and communication.

Some initial red lines:
- I'm not looking for someone who has guests too often, as the space doesn't work well for >2 people for more than a couple days. Happy for having friends/partner over every now & then, but regular overnight stays would be too much.
- No smoking.
- No pets.
- No drugs.

The tenancy starts from 20th November when my current flatmate moves out, but there might be some flexibility needed.

If this sounds like a good fit for you, drop me a message, and let’s chat!

//
- I'm hoping to have viewings from early-mid October.
- The bills come to c.£180 pcm, so overall it's about £845 pcm.
- You'll need to be referenced by your past rentals and also have a work income check to make sure it’s affordable.
