Spacious Double Room + Shared Office in Bedminster

Hello! Our housemate Sam is moving to pastures new, so we’re looking for someone new to join our household.

The room is an unfurnished large room suitable for a double bed and even space for a desk, with a shared bathroom used by two people. The house has a shared modern kitchen/living room area with a washing machine, fridge freezer, and dishwasher. Also, there is space in a shared office for anyone working from home that doesn't want a desk in their bedroom. There’s also a downstairs WC and a small courtyard out the back. Bills are not included and come to about £145 pcm (council tax, water, electricity, gas, WiFi). Council tax band C. The room will be ready to move in from 1st June on a 12-month contract.

The house is 30 seconds walk from Bedminster train station and the road has on-street parking (no permit required). It’s about a 20-25 minute walk into the city centre. Asda is a short 10-minute walk away, with North Street also nearby — full of pubs, cafes, and places to eat. Victoria Park is just a couple of minutes away if you fancy a walk or run!

Currently living in the house are two 29-year-old guys who are working professionals. We’re easy-going and enjoy a night out as much as chilling in. Ideally, we’re looking for a guy in their mid to late 20s who enjoys the same and is happy to help keep the house tidy. We’re into beers, cooking, gigs, more beers, coffee, the gym, exploring new places, and getting involved in what’s going on around Bristol — you name it. Leon is an Engineer by trade and Alfie is a Software Developer, so two massive nerds really. We also get on well with our neighbours and often hang out with them.

One extra thing to mention — we have a dog in the house! His name’s Freddie, he’s a 4-year-old Cavapoo, and honestly, he’s a dream. He doesn’t shed or malt, is incredibly well-behaved, and more often than not, we forget he’s even here. He’s super cute and always up for a cuddle, but very low-maintenance and easy to live with.
