Description
Come and live with me in a gorgeous terrace house in Bedminster! My current housemate is moving out and there will be space for a new tenant from 1st November 2025.
The bedroom is super bright and airy, and comes unfurnished (besides the curtains), but there’s the option to buy the current bed/mattress if you’d like (as my housemate is moving somewhere furnished). There’s also space in a small spare room for you to set up a desk, so if you work from home that’s no problem. I work in the office five days a week, so you’d usually have the house to yourself during the day.
The 2 story house is on a quiet street in BS3, and you’ll have shared access to a cosy living room, a beautiful kitchen, a clean bathroom, and a courtyard garden that’s a real sun trap in summer (however I’ve very much neglected it this year, haha).
To be transparent, this is not a party house. It’s a very chilled, respectful place to live and I’m looking for someone happy to fit into the vibe we’ve currently got going and is considerate of shared spaces. If I ever have friends round, it’s low-key and they’re gone by like 10:30pm (so I can get to bed!) – nothing late or loud.
A bit about me: I’ve lived in Bristol for almost 5 years now and absolutely love the Bedminster area. As I’m out of the house for work all day during the week, I love a chilled evening either at the pub or watching TV (think Vanderpump Rules, Bake Off, Strictly, Drag Race). It’s always nice if a housemate wants to join, but no pressure, it’s not an expectation. I like a relaxed envrionment where we can hang out sometimes, but also do our own thing without pressure. What matters most to me is someone who’s friendly, considerate, and easy-going.
Ideally I’m looking for a professional in their late 20s to early 30s, and the house is LGBTQ+ friendly, so it would be great to find someone who values this too.
We have a lovely, private landlord who pretty much leaves us be but is always responsive and proactive should we need him (we are his only property).
General info and travel links:
· Street parking (parallel, no permit required)
· Bike rack right outside the house (used by everyone on the street – my current housemate uses it with no issues – but there’s also a shed in the garden if you’d prefer indoor storage)
· 10 min walk to Sainsbury’s
· 17 min walk to North Street
· 2 min walk to 24 bus stop
· 5 min walk to 43, 75 bus stop
· 7 min walk to M1, 76 bus stop
Practical details:
· Rent: £775 each per month
· Bills: approx. £196 each per month (incl. gas, electric, water, council tax, broadband)
· Deposit: £894.23
· Contract: 12 months with option to extend
· Tenancy start date: 1st November 2025 (but looking to get someone confirmed and contract sorted within next 2 weeks)
