🌿 Single Room Available in Relaxed, Creative Home
We’re offering a single room (with double bed) in our friendly, laid-back home. The room can be furnished or unfurnished, depending on what suits you best.

We’re open to a professional or a student — more important to us is finding someone who’s a good fit for the house.

A bit about us:
We’re Heather and Scot, Gen-Xers with young hearts and fairly “early-aging hippie” energy. Heather works from home full time, and Scot runs a recording studio, so splits time between home and the studio. We’re relaxed, respectful, and value a calm, easy-going household.

🏡 The house & shared spaces
We have a great kitchen, which is very much the heart of the home. There’s a side seating area where we spend most of our time — cooking, chatting, playing games, sharing food, vinyl, and the occasional drink. We’d genuinely love to share this space with the right person.

There is also a separate living room, but this is more our personal downtime space and isn’t really a shared hang-out area. Past lodgers have mostly enjoyed their own room or the kitchen space, which has worked well for everyone.

The garden is fully shared and very much encouraged — especially in summer. We sit out there a lot, plan to grow vegetables, and love fires, drinks, and relaxed evenings outside. You’re more than welcome to get involved, while still having your own space.

We’re looking for someone who:

Is independent and comfortable having their own space

Enjoys a friendly home but doesn’t need constant socialising

Is respectful, chilled, and environmentally minded

We’re vegetarians, and while it’s not a deal-breaker, it’s definitely a preference. We’re happy to share all kitchen amenities.

We both smoke, but not in bedrooms.

Heather usually uses it around 8:30am

Scot is flexible

Bills included: all utilities + Wi-Fi

£200 pcm for bills (rent separate / as agreed)
