Room in 3-bed Bristol house - sublet/flexible

Hey, I’m Sasha, and I’m potentially looking to sublet my room in a 3-bed house in Bedminster, Bristol. I work in wildlife TV and after a very manic year, I’m taking a career break to visit family in New Zealand. The plan is to be away for around 6 months, possibly longer on a working holiday visa. My joint tenancy in this house officially ends in July and then goes to monthly rolling. There may be the option for someone to take over the full tenancy later, but nothing’s decided yet, so I’m looking for someone happy with a bit of flexibility. The room is a good-sized double. All the furniture is mine, and I’m happy to clear it completely or leave some pieces if that works for the right person. I also have quite a bit of the shared furniture in the house. There are three fairly large planters in the garden, currently home to some very sad tomato plants, but if someone wants to turn it into a mini growing project while I’m away, they’re more than welcome 🌱🍅

The house has lots of shared space including a living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, utility room, and a garden, so it really feels like a home rather than just somewhere to sleep.

You would be living with two other working professionals, females aged 26 and 30, and a house cat. We are fairly sociable and enjoy cooking together, heading to our local pub near Victoria Park, and getting out of Bristol for walks. Lately we have been loving walks along the canal system around Bradford-upon-Avon, and for years we have been saying we will finally get round to cycling the Strawberry Line. Both of the girls occasionally work from home.

Ideally I am looking for another 25 plus working professional who is easygoing, clean, and happy with the flexible sublet setup. No students please. We do occasionally have people over for dinners, birthdays, or other celebrations, and we are always happy to meet new people. It is a social house, respectful of each other’s space and time, but not a party house.

Some of the bills are included in the rent, and given that it’s the winter period, I would expect the total for rent and all bills to be around £750 per month. I have a deposit on the house, so we would just need to have a quick chat about looking after the place while I’m away.
