Hi folks! I’m looking for someone to join our lovely house in Bedminster. It has two great living rooms, a good-sized bedroom, a decent kitchen, and a nice garden. My current housemate is moving out at the end of February, so I’m looking for someone to fill the spot.
Because it’ll just be you and me, this isn’t just a bedroom in a house share - we’ll decorate bits of the house together, get stuck into the garden, cook together, and generally make it feel like a proper home. I want to be really sure I find the right person. Creatives and festival types welcome.
I’m a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community (as is my outgoing housemate). It’s really important to me that whoever moves in is part of this community, or is genuinely comfortable within it and knowledgeable about it.
About me: I’m a Bristol grad who moved back a year ago after six years living in Portugal. I work from home fairly often (but not always), I’m generally out and about at weekends or enjoying private time, and I go away quite a bit - so you’ll often have the house to yourself.
What I’m looking for: a kind person who’ll gel well with me and respect our lovely home - someone who’s up for getting involved and meeting new people, but who also brings their own personality to the house.
Important: Our agent requires referencing checks to begin by the end of this week - 30th January is the absolute latest. I won’t be seeing loads of people, so please get in touch quickly if you’re interested.
Bills: Council Tax Band B; water ~£25 each/month; electricity fluctuates but usually £25–£40 each/month; internet currently £12.50/month.
Viewings can be any day this week, most likely Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evenings. I’ll pause the ad once I reach a certain number of viewings.
