We have a fully furnished double room available in a cosy shared house in a quiet area of Bedminster. It’s a lovely spacious room with a queen sized bed and lots of storage space including built in wardrobes.
The house has a large open plan living / dining area with a separate kitchen all furnished. There is one downstairs bathroom.
The two bedrooms are on the first floor there is also an additional bedroom and en-suite bathroom on the top floor - this is solely used by our landlord Chris (35), who occasionally stays when he is in the UK.
The house has a large basement with a washing machine / lots of drying space. The basement can also be used for bikes and some additional storage.
We have a lovely garden - which gets lots of sun in the summer, perfect for bbqs and drinks outside!
There is on-street parking - and no permits required in the area.
The house is 10 min walk from North Street which has lots of cafes, shops and pubs. The house is also a 2 minute walk to parson street station and a half hour walk from Temple Meads.
You will be sharing with my lovely housemate Alice a professional in her 30s who enjoys nice pubs, art, walks and nature. We have loved living together for the last 3 years and very much feel like this is a home not just a house-share. The house is relaxed, chilled and not a party house. We are looking for someone who would like something similar.
Our landlord Chris (35) lives abroad and occasionally will be staying in the house for around a week a few times a year.
Our current working from home set up is we both work hybrid 9-5 (a few days in the office a few wfh). When wfh we work in the communal space however take any calls/meetings in our rooms. The room would work well for someone who has a similar working pattern.
Rent is £575 - bills are not included and generally come to around £100 per month, a little more in winter.
The room is available from the 18th April.
