Description
Looking for a new flatmate as my current flatmate is moving out to live with her partner.
**Ideally looking for another female Master's/PhD student aged 25+. Professionals considered but will be liable for reduced council tax rate due to my student status**
About the flat:
The flat is a two-bed ground-floor flat in Bedminster, opposite Greville Smyth park. Very close to North Street, East Street, and the city centre, so there is plenty of shops/cafes/supermarkets/salons/gyms etc. within a 10 minute walk. I've lived here for three years now, and it's been lovely. The location is great and the flat itself is well maintained, well-priced for the area, and the landlords are super helpful lovely people!
The flat is spacious, with a large shared living/kitchen open plan area, and shared bathroom with a shower and bath. All appliances included (washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle etc.).
The room is unfurnished, but has a lot of space for double bed, wardrobe, dresser, bookshelves etc.
Sadly no garden, but we do have a huge park across the road, and parking is available (for free!) in the car park out back.
The bills:
The rent is £675 a month, which goes direct to the Landlords. I pay the bills from my account which usually cost around £90 each, paid on the 16th of each month. Water bill is paid every 6 months and is usually £150 each, depending on usage.
A bit about me:
I'm about to begin the final year of a PhD in Psychology. I usually have a mix of home-working (in my room) and office working from Mon-Fri.
I'm really chilled and sociable, and like a clean and peaceful home. I enjoy socialising with flatmates but also like my own space and respect others' space. I'm always down for a pub trip, night out, or coffee etc. but I'm a bit too old to be living in a party house now, especially as I move into this crucial last year of study.
What I'm looking for:
Ideally, it would be great to find another like-minded girl, preferably be doing a Master's or PhD (for council tax reasons), and be 25 or older.
Looking for someone to move in before 19th October.
Feel free to message/text me with a bit about you. Always happy to do viewings :)
