Large modern double room in lovely Bishopston gaff

I’m looking for someone to share my Fungalow in Bishopston with me.

The room is a large, bright double bedroom, fully furnished with a double bed, bedside tables and a large built-in wardrobe with plenty of hanging space, shelving and drawers. There’s also loads of floor space, so it doesn’t feel like you’re renting a bed with four walls squeezed around it.

The house itself has recently had a bit of a refresh and is a really lovely place to live. There’s a big open-plan kitchen and living area with high ceilings and loads of natural light, a fully equipped modern kitchen (with two ovens and a dishwasher), a comfortable living room and dining space, plus bifold doors that open straight out onto our private courtyard.

There’s a modern shared bathroom with a large walk-in shower, as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer.

There’s a parking space on the drive as well as plenty of on-street parking, plus Wi-Fi, underfloor heating throughout, bike storage and a BBQ.

Location-wise, it’s pretty ideal. We’re on Bishop Road in Bishopston, just a few minutes’ walk from Gloucester Road, so you’ve got loads of independent cafés, pubs, restaurants, shops and takeaways nearby.

There’s a local shop basically around the corner, a bus stop across the road and e-bikes/scooters nearby, so getting into town is easy.

A little about me - I’m Andy 👋 I’m 34, friendly, sociable and pretty easy-going. I like having a home that feels relaxed and lived-in rather than just somewhere we both happen to sleep.

I’m looking for someone who wants the same sort of thing -ideally a friendly, considerate professional who’s happy doing their own thing but also up for a chat, a drink or occasionally sharing dinner. I’m not looking for an intense “we must become best friends” house share, but equally I’d like it to feel like a home rather than two strangers avoiding each other in the kitchen.

I’m pretty house-proud and like keeping the place clean and tidy, so I’d love to find someone who’ll treat it as their home too.
