Large Double Available in Friendly Houseshare

Hey Everyone,

We have a spacious double room available November and looking for a tidy, easy going guy or gal to join our lovely Houseshare!

Location

• Situated in a new build development in Bedminster Down with great views overlooking the city and within walking distance to lots of cafes and shops in Bedminster.
• City centre is just 10 minutes by car or 20 minutes via the 43/75/76 bus which stops right outside the estate.
• Parson St train station 11mins walk for links to Temple Meads, Cardiff, Weston and Taunton.
• The airport is also easily accessible via the A1 Flyer, which is a 20min journey.

Housemates

You’ll be sharing with two guys, and a girl myself (Taz), Marouane, and Bea. We’re all 20-30yo working in sales, hotel reception and cabin crew.

We’re fairly social, usually catching up on an evening cooking in the kitchen etc. Keep things chill mid week and occasionally go out on weekends, but nothing too mental. Definitely not a party house haha.

Interests among us include gym, running, basketball, hiking, festivals, rugby, football, and the occasional rave.

The Room

Fully furnished double with a bed, desk, chest of drawers, and built in wardrobe.

• Rent: £700 per month.
• Deposit: One month’s rent.
• Bills: £120 per month (gas/electric, water, council tax, WiFi and communal household products)

House Features

• Spacious living room with leather reclining corner sofa, 65” TV and streaming services (Netflix, Now TV and Amazon Prime).
• High speed fibre optic broadband.
• Well-equipped kitchen with an island range gas cooker, oven, dishwasher, 50” TV, dining table, and air fryer.
• Laundry facilities include a separate washing machine and tumble dryer.
• The main bathroom and a downstairs toilet is shared between 3 people (I have the en-suite, so rarely use).
• Outdoor the garden is set up with comfortable furniture under a pergola, secure bike shed, gas BBQ (recently upgraded from the one pictured) and an ice bath (absolutely freezing atm 🥶).
• One parking space is available on the drive in front of the house, safely watched over by numerous ring doorbell cameras in the estate (which is a cul de sac off the main road).

I like to keep the house very clean and tidy, so no shoes indoors and sandals/sliders for the kitchen area. We also have a cleaning rota in place, which is something you’ll be expected to adhere to.

Meet Cairo & Toffee

You’ll also be sharing the house with Cairo, my friendly super wrinkly sphynx cat! He’s very dog like, needy and most happy keeping warm in pretty much anyone’s lap. And yes, I have a selection of hoodies and tees for him 😂

I look after him majority of the time but will occasionally be away for the weekend, so housemates (whoever’s free) usually take over and look after him while I’m gone. He has an automatic feeder and litter box, so this isn’t much trouble!

FYI I’m usually allergic to most cats, but haven’t had any issues with him as he’s hairless 😅

Toffee is Bea’s chihuahua, he’s very cute and surprisingly not at all yappy. He doesn’t tend to leave Bea’s bedroom much but will occasionally sit and watch you cook hoping for a treat.

Other Details

• Minimum tenancy: 6 months preferred, though short term lets will be considered.
• References, copy of passport and a signed lodger’s contract are required.
