Description
A room is going in the flat I rent as my housemate has managed to buy a property. Location is fantanstic, makes getting to most places in the centre by walking viable. Had no issues with the flat itself, the room is a good size for a desk, storage etc as shown by the pics.
You'll be living with yours truly, I work at the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery/M Shed as an AV Technician (projectors/computers/speakers etc) and that keeps me rather busy nowadays, but also like to go out for a drink or disappear with friends/solo to go camping/hiking/road tripping round the UK's national parks (love Scotland in particular).
Naturally pretty interested in the arts/culture/history, like watching films from time to time (hence projector in the lounge), play video games occasionally though prefer to go out or sit and watch something nowadays. I occasionally work from home but more often that not i'm in the office from around 9:15am-6:15pm most days.
I want someone where there is no drama, would be nice to hang out from time to time and have good rapport, but I also like my own space to recharge from work and appreciate that right for others as well. Ideally with similar interests and a good sense of humour. We don't have to be best of friends or hang out much at all but equally I don't want to feel like I live with a stranger.
RE the dreaded cleaning subject, I'm after someone somewhere between a neat freak and a plates-in-the-sink-for-days person. We take turns on the bins and sort things in communal areas when they start to get bad, but I'm not opposed to considering a rota, though one hasn't been required whilst i've lived here.
The honest take is I don't want to hassle someone to empty a full sink the following night and equally I don't want to be hassled to empty the drying rack (evaporation does the work for you, no one here is scoring how consistently full the crockery cupboard is!)
I'm happy if you like going out (or if you don't), I also like going out for some drinks and happy for people to come round and chill from time to time, but it's not an afters flat. People staying over to sleep is obviously fine but if they need to sleep in the lounge i'd rather know in advance, only so i don't get a jump whilst fetching my morning coffee!
it's available start of November though there can be a bit of flex in the date if required so don't feel that date excludes you. Also the toilet and the bath/shower are in seperate rooms which is handy.
On the smoking/veggie preference point, it's a preferance to have a fellow veggie and someone that doesn't smoke but it's not a requirement, only hardline is obviously no smoking in the flat itself.
I'll respond in due course but likely a bit slow this week as i'm currently ill, so I can't see viewings happening until week of the 12th at the earliest. Message me on here and can go from there.

Bills are about £140-£195 (its hard to get exact due to the energy bill as VAT has just been removed and I need to readjust the debit amount as currently think we are paying too much for the winter credit buffer)
