Description
It's a three double bed house and I'm renting out one double room overlooking the garden, fully furnished.
The back garden is a beautiful space. Full of mature shrubs, roses, a massive climbing hydrangea and wisteria, all of which flower at different points over the year. The high walls and trees create total privacy, with pockets of sunshine highlighting different areas at different times, so you always know exactly where to sit for a cuppa or a beer at the end of the day. It’s a sanctuary from the bustle of Stapleton Road.
The front garden sets the house back from the road and the enormous willow tree makes it a lovely entrance to the house. It's been home to woodpeckers and jays, which you can spot through the dining room window.
Stapleton Road is positioned between Easton and Bristol City Centre, close to the excellent Old Market quarter of the centre of Bristol. The location is able to perfectly blend two amazing communities; St Werburgh's and Easton. Local spots include Jeevans or Alwaha, or Wiper and True over the bridge. The street is super easy for a commute into Bristol City Centre or to Temple Meads on foot or by bike.
The Bristol to Bath cycle path is really close and we're also super close to both the M32 and the A431 to Bath, making it ideal for commutes. Easton has a crazy amount of community areas, events and activities and Webb Street is central to the fun. Nearby, St Marks Road has the best of Bristol's independent shops and restaurants like: Sweet Mart and Thali Cafe. Stapleton Road and Old Market nearby are pretty great places to be.
It's an amazing area, with all of Bristol on the doorstep. The house is easily accessible to Temple Meads, as we're opposite Stapleton rd station.
Council tax band B and bills would probably amount to £200 a month (just moved in so estimates based on what I know). High speed broadband, TV with the room, new double bed and mattress, chests of draws for clothes. Storage for bikes in the summer house in the garden. Huge American fridge freezer to ensure cooking is a priority, brand new pans and an excellent kitchen to cook in.
Note the pictures are from advert when purchasing. When you view you will fall in love with the place.
Me: very easy going, very quiet but not introverted, I love people and have a huge number of very close friends in Bristol - just moved back here after 7 years in London ( was in Bristol 8 years before). If you're chilled out, have a kinda diverse and open minded friendship group / enjoy life and might want to become a part of a wider lovely friendship group, give me a shout. I like: cooking, good wine, good company, cycling, climbing, the sea.
Gimme a shout. Kieran
