Large Double Room in Greenbank Home

I’m Becs, a live in landlady looking for a friendly and respectful lodger to join my lovely home.

The room: is a large double, £775 inc bills (gas, water, electric, council tax, fast broadband etc). Additionally, we have bi-weekly cleaner (£15 each/clean). The room is available from end of December/ beginning of January with some flexibility on dates. It’s currently unfurnished aside from a chest of drawers, with the potential for a mattress. The contract will be an initial three months with the opportunity to extend if all parties are happy.

The home: It's a large spacious Victorian terrace in leafy Greenbank (Easton), really close to amenities such as the Greenbank pub, Matter Wholefoods, Este Kitchen, Now yoga studio, St Marks road with Sweetmart and cafes, Stapleton Road and the cemetery which is a lovely green space for walks. The house is about 2 minutes from the Bristol to Bath cycle path, where you can cycle to the centre in 10 minutes, or out into the countryside to Bath. The house has two bathrooms, living room, and large open plan kitchen/ diner- there is a large south facing garden where I grow a variety of veggies, flowers and herbs, amazing sun trap in the summer. I have two furry family members – Ayla and Luna the cats, so we cannot accept more pets.

About us: You would be living with myself Becs (33) and Matty (28). I am a trainee medical herbalist and Matty works in tech. I am in my final year of studying, and as such have a very busy schedule and am very engaged with studying/working. We are looking for someone respectful, kind and down to earth who will join us in taking good care of my home. As well as someone independent and considerate who is happy to get on with things of their own volition and help maintain a friendly and clean atmosphere in the house.

The home is a sanctuary for me and my retreat from a busy life, I’m keen to find someone who resonates with this. As my focus will be on finishing my final year, it’s important the house is a quiet and calm space. As such, we generally do all our socialising out and about.
