Large double available in a big, well-kept homely home on a quiet residential road closed to Fishponds / Staple Hill High Street with excellent transport links to city and M32.

I’m a live-in owner renting one room at £700 pcm, bills included. The house is set up so you have genuine independence and space — not a cramped share.

The room

Large double (approx 4m x 5m) with new bed, new mattress and double wardrobes. A desk, sofa or both can be added. There’s also a spare room next door that can be used as extra storage or a dressing room if needed.

The house

4/5 bedroom house with two large reception rooms (one can effectively be your own private lounge), two kitchens / food prep areas, two gardens, and off-street parking for three vehicles. There’s also a large summer house which works well as a creative or project space.

Bathroom is new and kept very clean. Plenty of storage throughout, including large fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The house is cleaned twice a week.

The household
Calm, adult, respectful home. Social when it suits, space respected as standard. I work Monday to Friday and I’m often away on weekends and occasional weeks travelling. Happy to chat over a meal, be sociable and also respect the need for space.

Interests include travel, music, gigs and other music events, art galleries and museums, film noir, cycling, festivals, live events, film, drawing, art and generally enjoying what Bristol has to offer. Have a large social group in Bristol we attend music events, cycle and travel together.

Friends stay occasionally in the guest room, which is also available for you to use when free.
