Double room in spacious flat

Looking for a clean, friendly and outgoing flat mate.

This is a spacious flat in the heart of Bristol, the home of amazing food and great venues. It faces the Old Market Assembly so you won’t be far from a lively night.

The flat has two beds with a shared bathroom (which is being redone after Christmas🥰).

The bedroom available has plenty of space and a brand new double bed/mattress either underneath storage.

It’s a safe area and on top of that, the flat building has a keypad to enter through a communal courtyard. There is also space for locking up your bike.

A little about me,

I’m Giles, a wildlife camera operator who has a flexible work schedule, sometimes being away for a week at a time.

I am looking for someone who is interested in socialising and doing things together like shared meals, going to gigs, quiet nights in but also doesn’t mind having time to themselves and respects one another’s privacy.

I moved here in March and I am still perfecting the flat as it came unfurnished, so I would like someone who isn’t afraid of me doing the odd bit of decorating and is keen to have an input on making this home even more cosy.

I love playing sports, staying fit and travelling. It would be nice to share some interests.

Boring bits:

Parking: additional charge to cover 2nd permit which covers a large area in Old Market (ES permit).

Bills: included but may go up or down depending on the time of year e. g. I didn’t need heating on from March - August so bills were cheaper.

Cleanliness: the current tenant and I take the bins out together every week and keep on top of cleaning when it’s needed. No micromanaging or rota rubbish but a mutual understanding to make the house look presentable for each other.

Kitchen: spacious fridge freezer and storage for dry goods. There is a dishwasher and washing machine.
