Large double bedroom in Southville!

We have a large double room available in our cosy three-bedroom house in Southville, just off North Street. We’re in a lovely spot, surrounded by loads of great shops, pubs, cafés and restaurants and we’re also about a 30-second walk from Aldi, which is always a bonus!
We’re looking for someone to move in ASAP / before 1st October, as our current housemate is moving away for work.
The room is unfurnished, so you’d need to bring your own furniture. The rest of the house is fully furnished and, as there isn’t much space for additional furniture downstairs, we do have an attic which is great for storing smaller bits if needed. 💘
Rent: £650 per month + bills, with bills usually coming to around £100–£150 per month, depending on the season.
A bit about us -
I’m Daisy, 27, from Cornwall! I’ve lived in Bristol and in this house for almost three years and have absolutely loved it. I work full-time doing nails and run my business from home, from the living room. This does mean the living room is unavailable for house use during the day, Monday–Friday, but all of the other rooms are completely separate and available as normal.
I loveeee cooking (and especially cooking for other people!), yoga, saunas and all things wellness, but equally love a good pub trip. I’m pretty social and tend to have plans throughout the week and at weekends.
Henry is 28 and from near Hereford. He works at Pizzarova in town four days a week, and as he tends to work long hours, he’s usually out of the house all day on work days. He’s also very into cooking and all things food, loves music, has a huge record collection and can mix vinyl! Like me, he’s very social and loves spending time with friends whenever he can.
We’d say we’re both positive, bubbly and sociable, so we’re looking for someone with a similar vibe.
As a house, we all get on really well and enjoy spending time together when we can whether that’s cooking a nice dinner and watching something on the telly, heading out for a drink or doing something together. We’re both very keen for a lovely, cosy winter now that all the summer plans are coming to an end. 🫶
Who we’re looking for 💌
We’d ideally like someone a similar age to us who is considerate of the house and enjoys keeping things clean and tidy. We’re definitely not looking for someone obsessive, but the house generally stays at a good level of tidiness - dishes done before bed, sides wiped down, that kind of thing!
Most importantly, we’d love someone who is keen to get to know us and be part of the house, rather than just having somewhere to sleep. We’ve really loved the dynamic we’ve had here and would love for this to be the start of something really lovely.
