About the house:
Furnished double room available including double bed, small built in wardrobe and kallax storage, as seen in photos. All bills included in price.
Deposit: £315

Shared upstairs shower bathroom, downstairs toilet, kitchen, living space and garden (pictured). There is also our bedroom and a third room which is our office/guest bedroom.

Location:
At the end of the road: two corner shops, post office, Italian and Chinese
Within 10-15 min walk: friendly local pub, community hub (inc. community sauna), 2 Co-Op options, local parks, river walks and St Anne's/Nightingale Valley Wood
20-25 min walk: Large Sainsbury's, Brislington and St George high streets

Transport:
We mainly cycle to get about - 15 minutes to Bristol Temple Meads and 20 minutes to most places around the centre. There is free parking on the road and a bus stop at the end of the road.

Looking for:
A lodger (single or couple) who is up for a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We enjoy a natter - usually over meals! - and shared TV series etc. but also respect the need for your own space. Whilst in general the house is a recharge space, guests are welcome over and there's the futon bed in the office if someone occasionally needs to stay a night or two.

Apologies, but no pets due to our cat Bagheera. She can go outdoors but is also very friendly and loves having people about to make a fuss of her. Immi also occasionally looks after her family's dog for short periods at a time - a very friendly Jack Russel.

We also only cook vegetarian in the house and would really appreciate if you could either do the same or be respectful of when and how you cook meat.

About Us:
We are Jamie and Immi and are a couple who own the house, along with our cat, Bagheera. We are looking to fill the room again since our lovely last lodgers moved out a couple of months ago or so.

We both work in the public sector - Immi as a psychologist in the NHS and Jamie as a civil servant - so are usually out 9-5 but each have 1-2 days work from home a week which we alternately use the office for. Around that, we enjoy comedy and music gigs, good food and shared meals, (board) games and the outdoors - sea or mountains in particular! Immi runs a weekly yoga class and Jamie is part of a Buddhist centre.
