Bright room in St. Annes Terrace House

**Whole house near the river and St Anne’s Community Sauna available for one month!** Available from 22nd May to 21st June. I’m hoping to have everything arranged by 18th May.

The house is on a quiet road with no through traffic, so it’s very peaceful — only residents drive through here. There’s plenty of parking, with two off-road spaces and additional on-street parking.
The neighbourhood is calm and green, and the river is just a 2-minute walk away (you can even see it from the bedroom window). One of my favourite things is making a cup of tea and sitting by the water.

It’s also well connected: around 12 minutes by bike to Temple Meads station and 15 minutes into the city centre.

I’ll be away for a month and am looking for someone tidy, considerate, and happy to treat the place with care while I’m gone.
The house is fully furnished, with a double bed, desks for working, a sofa bed, and lots of plants to keep you company (and hopefully alive!). There’s also some garden furniture for sunny days. The bathroom has just been renovated, with lovely green and wood-effect tiles and a rainfall shower head.

If you end up loving the place, there may be an opportunity to extend.

A bit about me:
I’m a Senior Economist for Somerset Council, and also an artist/dancer. I enjoy keeping a calm, simple home, with the occasional shared meal or gathering with friends.

I’m quite active and usually out a few evenings a week — at the studio, playing badminton or squash, doing yoga, or heading out dancing. When I’m home, I like cooking good Indian food, listening to music, dancing around the house, planning projects, reading, and relaxing with a chai.

I don’t have a TV, life feels full enough already, though I do enjoy the occasional film or series on a laptop.

Ideally, longer-term housemates work mostly away from home, though for this one-month stay you’re very welcome to work from the house.
