I am looking for someone who is calm and laid back to share my spacious and extended house from 1st December 2025.
There are 3 double bedrooms, but I am only looking for a single postgraduate or full-time professional tenant. I would be happy add their cat to the tenancy as well.
The double bedroom is newly decorated and fully furnished with 2 new Ikea wardrobes plus ample draw storage. The bedroom is at the back of the house, overlooks a very pretty, enclosed garden and is very quiet. There is a new bathroom for the tenant’s sole use.
Unusually, the tenancy also includes exclusive use of a separate ground floor study/office with a desk, chair and storage. Perfect for hybrid working.
We would share the kitchen (with washing machine and dishwasher), large living room (with TV) and dining room. There is also a utility room with tumble drier and hanging space to dry washing.
The house is in a cul-de-sac and there is free parking.
Bar Hill can be found just off the A14 at junction 25, approximately 4 miles northwest of Cambridge city center and 13.2 miles from the center of St Ives. Bar Hill is a thriving purpose-built village, with a regular bus service into the center of Cambridge. Expansion of the A14 has meant this popular village benefits from easy access to Cambridge, A1, A428 and M11. The drive to Addenbrooke’s Hospital only takes about 20 minutes. Alternatively, people drive to the park and ride and then cycle. Cambridge North train station is a 15-minute drive away. The Northstowe park and ride bus service is also direct from the end of the street to the City Center in 30 minutes, and is every half hour.
There are cycle paths into Cambridge and pedestrian/cycle paths connecting Bar Hill to Longstanton and Northstowe where you can travel on the guided busway heading to St Ives and Cambridge, the Science Parks and Addenbrooke's.
The house is less than 10 minutes walk to the Tesco Hypermarket.
