Beautiful house in Cambridge with garden

We have two rooms available to let in our beautiful house in Chesterton in north Cambridge.

So here’s the set up: The house is a much-loved, furnished, open-plan, bright family home with beautiful garden owned by us. We are a brother and sister in our early thirties who grew up in the house, but now live in London. I (Kate) come back regularly (around once a month), but most of the time the house is shared between our three lodgers (when all of the rooms are full). For the last ten years it has been a friendly house with lodgers where everyone gets on well, binging tv together, running, cooking together, weekend brunching etc. and we’d like to continue that — people tend to stick around for a while!

We are looking for two more lodgers who will love, respect and enjoy living in the house. There’s one downstairs toilet and shower, another toilet upstairs and a separate larger bathroom, so that aspect of things never feels crowded. The rent includes all bills, council tax, and wifi. There is permit car parking at the front of the house and secure bike parking in our garage. The rooms are furnished, but that’s flexible so if you’d prefer unfurnished that’s fine too.

It’s not far from the River Cam and there’s several great pubs, as well as takeaways and shops. There’s also a Co-op just five minutes walk away. It is a 5-10 minute cycle ride into the city.
