Comfortable private room with dedicated bathroom

If you're looking for a clean, comfortable and peaceful place to stay while visiting Cambridge, working in the area or spending time locally, we'd love to welcome you into our home.

The room is offered on a private-room basis within our family home and comes with a dedicated private bathroom exclusively for the guest. The bathroom is located just outside the bedroom and is accessed via the hallway. It includes a toilet, sink and shower/bath, and will not be shared with other members of our household.

You'll have your own private bedroom and dedicated bathroom, while also being welcome to use the shared areas of our home, including:

The kitchen is available for guests who would like to prepare their own meals.

We take cleanliness and hygiene seriously and make a conscious effort to keep our home clean, tidy and well maintained. We hope our guests will enjoy the same comfortable environment and treat the home with care and respect.

Our home:

We are a family of four with two young girls. We are a calm and respectful household and generally enjoy a relaxed home environment.

As this is a family home with two young children, guests may occasionally hear the normal sounds of family life. We do our best to keep noise at a reasonable level and respect our guests' privacy, particularly during the evening and night.

We are a non-smoking, alcohol-free household. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the property, and alcohol is not permitted on the premises.

There are no pets in the house.

We don't host parties or events and are looking for guests who appreciate a clean, peaceful and respectful home.

Location & getting around:

One of the advantages of staying with us is that you can enjoy the space and quieter surroundings of Northstowe while still having convenient public transport connections into Cambridge.

The nearest major transport connection is Longstanton Park & Ride/Busway, approximately a 10–15 minute walk from our home.

Cambridge city centre is approximately 15–30 minutes by bus (dedicated bus route) depending on the service and traffic, making it a practical option for guests who don't have their own vehicle.

The location is also particularly convenient for anyone working around Cambridge Science Park, with direct public-transport connections towards the area (10-15 mins).

Northstowe itself is a modern, growing community with local amenities and plenty of open space, making it a pleasant alternative to staying right in the busy city centre.
