Hi everyone! We’re urgently looking for a new housemate to take over a lovely room in our 3-bedroom house near Mill Road, as our current housemate is moving for her job. Available from December 2026 (but we have to confirm a new tenant ASAP).
The house and location
The 3-bedroom house is in a great location near Mill Road, which is a quiet, convenient area, a 10-minute walk to the train station, 20-minute walk to Cambridge city centre.
Fully equipped kitchen and shared living room, bathroom; fully equipped appliances, like TV, washing machine, stoves, oven, airfryer, etc.
Rent & Cost
•Rent: £580/month (excluding bills)
•Bills: approx. £140/month
•Deposit: x5 weeks rent (protected)
•Furniture: Double bed and desk upon request
Tenancy
•Looking for someone long-term (minimum 1 year)
•Managed by an agency (they’ll handle referencing, paperwork, and contract updates)
About Us
I’m Katie, a final-year PhD student living with Yan who works for an NGO in conservation.
We’re both 30 years old. We are easy going and enjoy a mix of social time (cooking, walking, watching TV, occasional fun activities or friends visiting), but we also enjoy the relaxed days at home and respect each other’s space.
Who We’re Looking For
