Cosy Double Room Available in Central Cambridge

Hello!

We are looking for a friendly housemate to join us in our lovely central Cambridge flat starting the first of September. The contract is fixed-term for a year and then moves to a periodical contract.

About the Flat:

The room is an unfurnished double, has a built-in wardrobe with a storage cabinet at the top, a lovely Victorian fireplace, and a view of the quaint street below. The room also comes with additional storage space under the stairs.

Your bathroom will be shared with one other housemate and has storage cabinets with an over-bath shower.

We’re a cosy, tidy flat and have the most beautiful view from our living room of all the neighbouring gardens and trees!

For accessibility, please note we have two flights of stairs to reach the flat.

About the Flatmates:

Charlotte - Charlotte is a dual American/British citizen who grew up in North Carolina and has lived in Oxford and London. She has a master’s degree in Women's, Gender, and Queer History with a focus in medieval women. She works in academic publishing and loves to read lengthy fantasy books alongside copious cups of tea.

Wen - Wen is working on a PhD in Biological Science. He is from Melbourne, Australia and enjoys hiking and the outdoors. He's a talented cook, often leaving the kitchen smelling delicious.

We’re looking for a flatmate who is warm, friendly, and clean to join us.

Rent and Bills: Rent is £650 paid on the first of the month and bills range depending on season but average about £175 a month. This includes council tax, tv license, wifi, and a bi-weekly cleaner.

Parking: There is secure bike storage in a back patio shared with the other flats. The surrounding streets have permitted parking that can be purchased through the council.

Location: The location can’t be beat! It’s next to Christ’s Pieces and the Drummer Street bus station. A three-minute walk to the town centre but equally close to Jesus Green and the river.
