The bungalow is in a quiet cut-de-sac close to Science Park and Cambridge North Rail Station. Regular buses into City Centre, Addenbrookes, (number 2), etc. Fifteen minutes by bike into City Centre and University campuses. Bikes can be securely kept in a covered space within the property.
We are looking for a cheerful multinational mix of graduates, research students, and graduate professionals. There has always been a very good and mutually respectful and co-operative atmosphere in the house. At the moment there are 2 x post graduate professionals, so either male or female would be welcome for the remaining study/bedrooms.
The rent includes Council Tax, water, gas, electricity, internet and TV and the once weekly services of a cleaner- nothing more to pay.
The bungalow has s a large sitting room/dining room and a large well equipped kitchen with good quality appliances, and ample storage space. A full range of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, is also provided. There are two shower room/toilets and a small garden with a patio and garden furniture in the summer.
All study/ bedrooms have their own lock. The average measurements of the rooms are 3x3 m. There is also a separate laundry/ drying room, attached to the house. The bungalow is very well insulated and electricity is supplied from solar panels. We are progressively phasing out our use of gas. No smoking in the house.
Tenants should provide their own bedding. All rooms have new, good quality mattresses and a mattress protector/enhancer are provided.
The landlord lives close by and does not interfere in the business of the house, (but is always available for help, information or maintenance).
There is a good range of shopping, medical and postal amenities very close by.
