A furnished double bedroom has become available in a large detached house with garden. The house is on the edge of a quiet Cambridgeshire village near Huntingdon, close to the A1/A14 junction.

The available bedroom is preferably for a female, has a double bed, fitted wardrobe space and a window looking out over the large back garden. A bathroom is shared with the female landlord and has a bath, toilet and basin and a separate shower cabinet.

There is a well-equipped modern kitchen/diner for shared use, and a laundry room with two washing machines. There are two living rooms which can be used with mutual discussion. There is a downstairs cloakroom and off-street parking and a large garden with a patio area. Given the lack of regular public transport, a vehicle is essential to live here. Broadband speed is in the region of 65Mbps download.

The house is near a village with a pub serving good food. Also within walking distance is the next village which has a licensed social club, another pub, a shop with a post office and a doctor’s surgery.

We are a friendly group but busy with our own professions, interests and activities: this home would suit an independent character. We do have a well-behaved cat with access to communal areas.

No smoking in the house - but there is plenty of space outside.
