The room is furnished with a small double bed and good-quality, very comfortable mattress, both less than a year old, 2 bedside shelves, desk and chair, wall-mounted TV and a new wardrobe with drawers and hanging space. The IKEA desk has its own desk lamp, and rechargeable reading lights are provided above the bed, making the room suitable for both working and relaxing.

The large shared shower room with basin, mirror, electric shower and toilet is just across the landing. There is also shared use of the well-equipped kitchen, including an oven, air fryer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, kettle and toaster. The lodger has their own spacious kitchen cupboard and designated space in the fridge/freezer.

There is fast Wi-Fi, and all bills are included in the rent.

A parking space on the drive is available for the lodger, and there is secure space in the garden for a bicycle.

This is a quiet home where everyone has their own private space. The owner lives on the ground floor with her dog, and there are never more than two lodgers, who occupy the first floor. The kitchen and shower room are the only shared areas.

The house is ideally located for Peterborough City Hospital and Bretton Centre, which has Sainsbury's, Aldi, Iceland, Boots, Costa and other shops and services. There are also good bus links nearby and easy access to the A1 and A47.
