TWO SETS OF ROOMS ARE AVAILABLE:

" Wansford Haven " is a comfortable, spacious and well-maintained home in a peaceful cul-de-sac in the village of Wansford, near Stamford, Oundle and Peterborough. We accommodate only 2 housemates.

ROOM SET 1 ) This private suite consists of two generously sized rooms and a dedicated bathroom with shower. One room provides the bedroom, while the second is your own personal room for relaxation, studying or working. There is plenty of storage and clothes hanging space.

ROOM SET 2 ) Private En-suite arrangements has the master bedroom and its dedicated shower room, and a small dressing room with good storage.

SHARED AREAS : You have full use of the large L-shaped lounge, kitchen and south-facing garden. With large windows, the living area is light and open in all the seasons.

Wansford is an attractive stone-built village with pubs, restaurants, a post office and a famous old hotel and inn. River walks and kayaking are nearby, and a Forestry Trust nature reserve with extensive walking routes is within 500 metres.

Rent is all-inclusive, with high-speed fibre broadband and cleaning and concierge service provided locally.

The large lounge has a TV and has recently been refurbished and re-carpeted.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, fridge, new oven, induction hob and a full range of kitchenware. A freezer is located in the utility room.

Housemates enjoy a high degree of privacy and independence, while having the reassurance that help is readily available nearby if needed. This arrangement has worked well and provides both security and personal space.

Outside, the property benefits from a south-facing raised patio and garden, maintained throughout the year. There is an outside storage area for sports equipment, together with seating, cushions and a barbecue for outdoor relaxation.

Additional facilities include a tidy indoor utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and storage space, a hallway coat cupboard, and an outdoor shoe and boot locker. Parking is off-road on a wide gravel drive.

Wansford offers quick and convenient access to Peterborough, the City Hospital and the East Coast Main Line. Fast trains run to London King’s Cross in 48 minutes, and Peterborough station is approximately 15–20 minutes from the house.

Nearby is Stamford, regularly recognized as one of England’s finest market towns: under 15 minutes away. Oundle, Oakham and Uppingham are a little further. Cambridge and Leicester can be reached in under an hour.

Visits can be arranged at short notice with the owner.
