Calm home near Cambridge, garden, gym

Hi,

I’m starting to explore renting out a room in my home in Waterbeach and thought I’d put this up to see who might be a good fit.

The house is a quiet, well-kept bungalow down a private drive, right by the village green. It’s a peaceful setup with a large open-plan kitchen/living space, a good-sized garden and patio, and a modern bathroom. There’s also a double garage that I’ve set up as a gym, which you’re welcome to use.

It’s not a busy house share. I live here with my daughter (around 50% of the time) and a very well-behaved cockapoo, so the overall feel is calm, respectful and homely. Evenings are usually relaxed, especially when my daughter is here.

I’m open to different types of housemates. Some people prefer to keep to themselves, others enjoy a bit of chat in shared spaces. Both are fine. The main thing is that expectations are aligned and the house remains an easy, comfortable place to live.

Location-wise, Waterbeach is very easy for Cambridge. The train gets you in within about 5 minutes, and there are regular buses with a stop about a minute from the house.

I’m looking for someone clean, considerate and settled who values a peaceful environment and takes care of where they live.
