Waterbeach is ideally located for commuting, with Cambridge North just 4 minutes away by train and Cambridge city centre approximately 10 minutes away. There are also direct train connections to London, making it a convenient base for both local professionals and those travelling further afield.

The room benefits from a built-in wardrobe and its own private en-suite bathroom, offering a comfortable and private space to call home.

You’ll also have access to our spacious kitchen, dining and living area, as well as a lovely conservatory overlooking greenery and the garden. The house benefits from ultrafast internet throughout.

The room would suit a professional individual (or couple) looking for a comfortable temporary home while relocating, waiting to move into a permanent property, or working on a short-term contract.

We’re looking for someone considerate, independent and respectful who appreciates a peaceful home environment, privacy and a relaxed way of living. My husband works away a lot and we both have fairly independent lifestyles, so someone who is equally comfortable enjoying their own space would be a great fit. A love of plants would be a lovely bonus, and someone with prior experience caring for a home would be ideal.

Availability: Approximately three months from December 2026, with departure by 6 March 2027. We have some flexibility around dates.
