Double Room in Witchford (near Ely)

Hi,

I have a large double furnished room available in a 3 bedroom house in Witchford, which is available from 1st August 2025, and maybe available sooner.

I am looking for someone who speaks English to a good standard, even if it isn't their first language. Sorry, but due to the current dynamics of the property I do not take couples.

Witchford is situated approximately 2.5 miles from Ely and 15 miles north of Cambridge. There are good road links to the A142 and A10. Public transport between Witchford and Ely and other nearby towns is quite poor from the village.

The lodger will have access to the kitchen, bathroom/wc, additional wc and garden. The living room is being decorated and is not currently available for use, but will be in the future. I am unable to offer garage space, but can offer off-road parking for one vehicle if needed, and a space in the shed for a bicycle.

The house has gch. Broadband is available. There is a garden to the back and front. The house and garden are both strictly non-smoking.

The Property is Council Tax Band C.

I am the landlord of the property though I only reside there occasionally, maybe one week every two months. When I am there, you will find me very laid back and easy to get on with. I have many years experience of letting rooms and several past lodgers remain very good friends of mine.

I have one lodger who is in their mid 20s and is very easy to get on with.

Rental of the room is for a minimum period of 3 months.
