We also generally provide a vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, mop and bucket, dustpan and brush, etc.. It is tenants' responsibility to provide consumables, such as bin liners, washing up liquid, toilet rolls, etc. and managing the waste in the house is also the responsibility of all tenants' living there.
Bills included in the rental price are council tax, gas, water, electricity and broadband. We also provide a regular cleaner for all communal areas of the house.
As a managing agent, we provide a 24/7 phone line for tenants and an online maintenance reporting portal. We have a friendly lettings team and a group of dedicated tradespeople who we call on for the maintenance of our properties. We carry out regular checks of communal areas, as is our legal obligation, and do the same for individual rooms every few months.
Living in a shared house requires mutual respect, consideration and understanding of the nature of the accommodation provided and we offer an initial fixed term of 6 months, although will consider slightly shorter terms on occasions.
