Housemate to share with me & my dog in a 4 bed

Hi, I’m Sophie, a 37 year old working full time at a marketing company in Hale.

I have a really lovely and spacious 4 bedroomed (one of which is an office) house with parking just 5 minutes from Knutsford and close to the new Altrincham By-Pass. It was renovated in summer 2020 from top to bottom, with £80K being spent on new bathrooms, kitchen, windows etc and work to secure the large garden area. I am ideally looking for a like-minded professional who would want to share the house with me. Ideal if you have a car as the nearest train station is 2 miles away, however there is a big shed if you are a keen cyclist and wanted to secure your bike.

I spend a lot of time with my family and friends, walking the dog & I like going for lunch / dinners or getting stuck into a good series. I’m clean & tidy, and like my own company as much as I do spending time with others.

You would have use of the spacious, large double bedroom (with king size bed), predominant use of the master bathroom (I have an en-suite). The house has all white goods available for use, including dishwasher and washing machine. There is a storage cupboard that you can use for towels, linens, suitcases etc, and the smaller box room (4th bedroom) is set up as an office which I use 2-3 days a week. I am only looking for 1 housemate to live with me and my dog and will not be seeking an additional person for the 3rd bedroom.

The following bills are Included in the price; rent, council tax, broadband, gas, electric, water, tv licence, window cleaner, plus Netflix & Amazon Prime on the tv in the lounge!


Please get in touch if you have any questions, but I am ideally interested in a house share with someone that I can get on with, watch a series, go for dinner or drinks occasionally, rather than someone just looking to rent a room. I have a superb relationship with the landlord and they are perfectly aware of my plans.

One KEY POINT is that I have a gorgeous 9 year old cavapoo dog called Charlie who spends his working days at home with my mums dog (we have a dog walker to take them out when I’m in the office). The wish list is, a professional like-minded person who works 9-5 full time (someone who wfh all week wouldn’t work in this space) is clean and tidy, loves dogs and who likes to socialise & have their own space and occasionally binge watch a good series on Netflix! (Costs of wine and chocolate to be shared!)
