The Government requires all Landlords to check prospective adult lodgers' personal details under the Right-to-Rent scheme which applies to everyone, regardless of their nationality. This is also a no alcohol, no smoking, no drugs property. If you need friends to visit you or stay over, then you need to find an HMO or property in which the landlord does not reside.
