The house and your bedroom are fully furnished.
I’ve recently had a ground floor side extension added, which is the utility room, and features a shower room, toilet and Belfast sink. It is 90% complete, so I will be making appearances every now again to finish it off.
There is also a washer/dryer machine and a dishwasher. The lounge features a wood burner, keeping the house nice and warm and cosy during those winter months!
The dining room has a large oak table which can be used as a work space if working from home, and the bedroom also features a desk and chair.
All bills including broadband are included.
Off road parking available on private drive with CCTV. No access to the garage though, although I'm happy to let you store the odd item in there.
There is a village shop (and post office) a 5 min walk away, as well as three pubs all within walking distance; Sutton Hall (5 mins), The Old Kings Head (7 mins) and The Church House (5 mins).
There is also a cafe nearby; Sutton & Co (5 min walk) next to the village shop and also a restaurant/ cafe within Fairways Garden Centre, which is about a 10 minute walk.
There is a footpath directly adjacent to the house, which leads through a wood, alongside the river and across some fields to Sutton Hall.
Macclesfield Forest and its four reservoirs are a very short drive away (about 5 mins), and are a great place for walking, cycling and enjoying the beautiful countryside and wildlife. There is also a reservoir in Sutton about a 5 min drive away which has a footpath around it.
Macclesfield Canal is only a 10 minute walk away.
This rare property is ideal for a young professional who is clean & tidy and likes their own space, along with a peaceful and tranquil village setting.
Despite the house being semi rural, it's only a short distance from the town centre and several transport links.
