If you don't know the area; Tarvin is a small but well provided for village only 10 minutes outside of the city of Chester, close to M53 and M56 with good bus links for Chester, Northwich and Crewe via Tarporley/Nantwich etc. There are 2 pubs and a wine bar, plus a petrol station/mini market, Co-operative food shop, chemist, post office/news agent and various other shops.
