Double room to rent with 1 female & 1 dog

Double room available in a calm, friendly home

I have a fully furnished double room available to rent in my home. Single occupancy only – no couples.

The house is in a convenient location, just a few minutes’ walk from a bus stop with regular buses into Chester (around 15 minutes), with local amenities also nearby.

I’m friendly, easy-going and laid-back, and I’m looking for someone with a similar nature. Being clean, tidy and respectful is really important to me, and I’d ideally like someone who enjoys a calm, relaxed home environment and is fairly independent.

I have one dog, so you really do need to love dogs! I would not be able to consider anyone with a dog.

There is one shared bathroom, which is downstairs just off the kitchen.

I work from home two days a week and my desk is currently in the lounge. The lounge is a walk-through room to access the kitchen, so I’d particularly like someone who is considerate of this while I’m working.

Ideally, I’m looking for someone who doesn’t work from home, although working from home up to 2 days per week would be absolutely fine.

I’m looking for this to feel like a comfortable, peaceful home rather than a busy house share, so someone calm, clean, tidy, respectful and laid-back would be a great fit.

I would also consider a Monday–Friday let at a reduced rent for someone who only needs somewhere during the working week.

Deposit and first month’s rent required upfront.
