Double room - eco-conscious, plant-based household

This is for a lovely room in welcoming, friendly home on the outskirts of the town centre. The home is 2 rooms (ours and yours) and a box room (currently storage/ meditation recording space), a shared bathroom with a walk in shower, a living room which is also a physiotherapy and massage clinic, a kitchen, mini-laundry room and small permaculture gardens in the front and back.

You would be staying with us, a couple, I am from Wrecsam, my partner is from Catalonia. Sometimes we rent out our spare room, usually short term, to give people a safe, welcoming friendly place to stay, and all our income from this goes towards all the bills, repairs, maintenance and improvement of the home

My partner is a physiotherapist, and I am a holistic healthcare practitioner working with multiple levels for wellbeing. My son sometimes comes in the day to the house to see home clinic clients. We. also house-sit and work away a lot, so often you will have the house to yourself too.

It's a great location, that is 10-15 minutes walk from lovely wood in Erddig, 10 minutes from a lovely park Bellevue, and 10 minutes if that walk to town. We have trees overlooking our space yet also a supermarket (LIDL) around the corner, and a co-op a few minutes away. We are about 20-25 minutes walk (10 minutes drive) to the train station.

We do ask for people that are willing to have only vegan food and drink only home. This is important due to allergies and ethics. What other people eat outside the home is up to them.

We do ask for people that are clean and tidy.

Sometimes the kitchen is not accessible if there are clients in the home clinic, but you can still access your room and bathroom at those time.

The home, kitchen, the bathroom is sometimes shared, or when we are away, you may often have it to yourself. We do ask that even men sit down to use the toilet - we find it's just so much cleaner that way.

All bills are included with the exception of electric if electric use is high, and TV license as we do not have a TV.

We have an electric car charging point in the garage, and we do have a cheap overnight rate for this.

There's usually street parking in the close.

We use only plant based eco-products in the home, and we recycle everything we can!

We don't smoke or vape, and like a smoke/vape free home.

Happy to have partners/friends stay if they respect the agreements too.

We are quite relaxed, we love both socialising and having time to ourselves - so suitable for introverts and extroverts alike.

We are pet free.
