Restful and Relaxing - Room with a View

Yew Room (view of Yew tree from window) is a quiet room with its own exclusively private and very large bathroom with a corner bath and power shower, just 2 steps away from the bedroom in our lovingly-restored Victorian house. The room is fully furnished and includes a 32” flat screen TV, DVD player, ample sockets, extra USB points and superfast broadband. Also in the room is a compact and silent room fridge, kettle and tray as well as storage and hanging space. The bed is a large single (3ft x 6’ 6”) with storage under. Bedding and towels are provided and changed weekly when we service your room at no extra charge.

ALL bills are included. There's a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is off-street parking for 1 car per lodger as well as shared use of lounge, garden and spacious refurbished kitchen. You’ll have your own kitchen cupboard space as well as space in the fridge and freezer.

Just 8 minutes walk from Bodmin Town Centre, the house is surrounded by a large woodland garden, an on-going restoration project and (away from the house) we have bees. We re-use, recycle, compost and try always to avoid the use of synthetic chemicals. Almost all our cleaning products and toiletries are plant-based and/or chemical-free and most of our furnishings and furniture are made from natural materials.

We (Kim and Gill) live permanently on the premises so there is always someone to ask if needs be.

Yew Room's current Lodger leaves us to set up home with the love of his life - definitely our loss! And so, this lovely room would be suitable for a working, non-smoking person, who enjoys a bit of company though we totally respect each others privacy. References essential.
