** Looking for housemates to fill four large furnished double rooms from September**
There are four spacious double room available in this house of young professionals. The other housemates 2 girls and 1 guy in their 20s, all young professionals or mature students. We would like to find 4 more friendly, respectful, conscientious housemates to take the vacant rooms. The rooms would suite young professionals or current/former student who are happy contributing towards a successful houseshare. It is important to be good communicators, and team-players regarding keeping the house and garden in order. All rooms are priced at £625/month, and deposit is one month's rent.
The Rooms (2, 4, 5, and 6, see floorplan):
Room 2 is a large ground-floor double bedroom measuring 3.7m x 3.7m. It was repainted 18 months ago and is fully furnished in solid wood with bed, desk, wardrobe, chair, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers, and mirror. It has a large window facing the rear courtyard/garden.
Room 4 is a large 1st floor double bedroom measuring 3.7m x 3.7m. It was repainted 18 months ago and is fully furnished in solid wood with bed, desk, wardrobe, chair, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers, and mirror. It has a large window facing the rear courtyard/garden.
Room 5 is a 1st floor double bedroom measuring 3.2m x 3.4m. It will be freshly repainted and is fully furnished in solid wood with bed, desk, wardrobe, chair, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers, and mirror. It has a large window facing across the street with avenue trees providing shade in summer and a more natural view. This room is currently vacant so an earlier move-in is possible by arrangement.
Room 6 is a bright and spacious 2nd (top) floor double bedroom with a slightly irregular shape (see floorplan), measuring 4.1m x 3.5m at its largest. This room is fully furnished with bed (new mattress this year), wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet, desk, chair, and under-bed storage drawers. The Landlord (me):
I live locally, and was a student here myself several years ago. I aim to offer better value for money and provide a better service than agencies or out-of-town landlords can possibly provide. I strive to be conscientious, easy to contact, flexible when issues arise, and able to respond to problems quickly. I have worked at the Penryn campus as a bioscience researcher for the last few years, having been a postgraduate student there previously. I have owned the property for 11 years so I have a good knowledge of what makes a good rental house, and hopefully a good landlord :) I am a member of the Cornwall Responsible Landlord Scheme and National Residential Landlord Association. This house was recently inspected and the council gave very positive feedback. I live less than 3 minutes from the property and can be contacted by phone/email/whatsapp at any time. I like to deal with problems quickly and really push for open and efficient communication between tenants and myself. I feel strongly that landlords should aim to return deposits in full whenever possible and I try to achieve this by addressing issues as they occur through prompt and honest communication.
