Light and spacious double room in Porth nr Newquay

My home is a ground floor flat, situated in a quiet and friendly community very close to the ocean, with stunning sunset views, beaches and the coast path just across the road.

I’m offering a comfortably sized and furnished double bedroom with king size bed, a shared bathroom with bath and shower, open plan living/dining/kitchen area and a warm and friendly atmosphere.

If you have a vehicle, I can offer a parking space but if not, you can catch a bus a 2-minute walk from the property. If needed, there is also locked storage available for a bicycle and surfboard and there are large communal gardens.

You will be sharing with myself, the owner, a professional who sometimes works from home. You can expect both a warm connection and privacy. I value a calm and nourishing living space and I would like to share with someone who values the same. I also love a bit of friendly banter and a good laugh.

My preference is to share my home with a working female lodger. Someone who is kind and considerate, (clean and tidy!) and appreciates a peaceful, comfortable and cosy living space.

It’s not suitable for someone who works from home. However, there is a lovely hotel next door that welcomes digital nomads to use their facilities as a co-working space and memberships are available for their gym, if the gym is your thing.

Single occupancy only and no pets.

Rent includes council tax (Band A), water, Wi-Fi and (reasonable) use of electricity and heating.

Initially for 6 months and if it’s working well for both of us, the potential for longer.

References and ‘right to rent’ check will be required and if needed, a written lodger agreement can be provided.

Open to both a full-time and Monday – Friday arrangement.
