Description
.Small sized double room, with a rail, under bed storage and a desk.. I’m happy to change the furniture to accommodate your needs though.
2 minute walk to the nearest shop and pub.
10 minute walk to the beach, train station, bus station, post office and Barclays bank.
25 minute walk to the nearest super market.
Pros of living in this house
-Super chilled, peaceful and relaxing environment, on a quiet street.
-Big organic garden.
-Close to all amenities.
-Sea view from the road and garden.
Cons of living in this house
-House isn’t soundproof.
-No bath tub.
-No WiFi, Sky or mainstream TV.
-On street parking only.
Please have two references with their contact details ready to send me. I know this isn’t the usual way to proceed. But I know I’m going to be inundated with enquiries, and if these are available, I know your ready to move in. On receipt of these, we can arrange a viewing, or FaceTime viewing.
I won’t contact your references, unless you decide to rent the room.
On accepting the room, I will need some basic information to receive permission from my landlord, to have you as a lodger.
After I’ve received permission from my landlord, I will then need proof of ‘the right to rent’ so the authorities know you legally have the right to rent in the UK.
I will need either
1-Passport or
2-Government ‘Share Code’
3-Birth certificate and drivers license
Which I need to photograph in your presence (to check the photo is of you) and keep this information during your stay, and for 12 months after you leave.
I want to grow a lot of organic fruit and veg.
Harvest rain water.
Harvest wild foods.
Cook outdoors.
Build an art studio.
If I can find lodgers, that would enjoy and appreciate these kinds of projects, and get involved, and help me, that would be my ideal set up. Hours of work would be deducted from the rent. I’m looking to set up a micro community of three, with a homestead feel. Communal cooking and meals. Preferably with long term lodgers. This isn’t compulsory, more wishful thinking.
*Please note, furniture in the room is slightly different to the picture. Will update when my present lodger has moved out*
Thank you.
Any questions, just pop them across.
